"You're off to great places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, so...get on your way!!" ~Dr. Suess

Despite the best efforts and hard work of our maintenance crew, the playground at Terreton Elementary has succumbed to the effects of age.  It is now in desperate need of a remodel and resurfacing so that it will meet current safety, age-appropriateness, and disability accessibility standards.
The existing playground at Terreton Elementary after many years of good use.

Large crack in the twirly slide.
To correct these issues, we are moving forward with an exciting plan that is student- and community-centered. The children will have opportunities at school to be led through the planning, fundraising, and finally, construction phases of this project and learn lessons in the classroom that will benefit them in their future.  All of this will lead up to community Build-Day when volunteers put the finishing touches on assembling the playground and the whole community is invited to participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration.  Although this may seem like a big mountain to climb, we are confident that together we can make this an experience our children will never forget!

We hope that you will join us on Build-Day, June 13, 2015!!
Thank you to our excellent teachers, staff, administration, School Board, PTO, parents, and other volunteers who are turning this dream into reality.
