Mud Lake Telephone/High Plains Propane - Taking our dreams from paper to reality!!

We are ecstatic to announce that Mud Lake Telephone/High Plains Propane has committed to being our corporate sponsor for our playground renovation project!  After listening to some of our students present on Wednesday night, they have committed to a $10,000 contribution PLUS they will give us an additional $10,000 match if Terreton PTO and students can raise another $10,000 in the next 30 days! That is a potential $30,000 toward our playground!

We have a lot of money to raise in one month.
Here's how you can help:

  • Donate through the PayPal button on the blog.  It goes right into our playground account.
  • Order a brick for our memorial path and become part of the legacy.  Encourage your neighbors, grandparents, alumni, and businesses to do the same.  Go to www.thatsmybrick.com/terreton to order or to give a monetary donation.  Watch your mailbox next week for more information and hard copy order forms if you'd rather order that way.
  • Contribute tax-deductible donations through the Ed Foundation and be sure to specify to them that it is for the playground.  Go to wjsd.org to find their form.
  • Become a $1,000 match for the money the students raised in their classroom jars.  We have two already, but definitely need more.  Contact Brooke Shumway at shumwayb@wjsd.org.
  • Talk to whatever connections you may have with people or businesses who need a tax write-off and are looking for a student- and community-centered project to support.  Contact PTO President Lindsey Bitter at terretonpto@gmail.com or Jenn Woodward at wjhgrants@gmail.com.
Thank you to all of our kids that have worked so hard to sell movie tickets and bring in money!  Thank you to the parents for all of your support and letting your kids take your loose change!  We want to recognize our amazing teachers, Mrs. Shumway, Mrs. Tuckett, and Mr. Hall, for their work above and beyond the school day to get this presentation put together and support their students.  Thank you, Mrs. Cureton, for your support and help.  Thank you to the students for presenting with such strength and professionalism - you guys rock!  And most of all.......

Thank you, Mud Lake Telephone/High Plains Propane Board!!!
